For its 27th edition, the Quebec Francophonie Rendezvous returns from March 1 to 31, 2025 – this year carrying the inspiring theme, “Cultivate Your Roots!” This nationwide event offers a unique opportunity to celebrate and promote French language and culture across Canada.
A Celebration of a Living Culture
The Rendezvous invites participants to experience, enrich, and share a culture that is continually evolving through encounters and discoveries. The theme “Cultivate Your Roots!” symbolizes the power of a heritage that is constantly renewed—a tapestry woven by personal experiences and knowledge. Like a network of trees with intertwined roots, this celebration highlights how culture unites families, communities, and generations.

A Program that Brings Communities Together
The 2025 edition emphasizes the initiatives of cultural and community organizations that help spread the French culture throughout Canada. Not only does the event cater to Francophones, but it also welcomes Francophiles and Anglophones who appreciate French language and Franco-Canadian culture. With an inclusive spirit, the Rendezvous also celebrates the contributions of Indigenous peoples and Canadians from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout the month, numerous activities will be held nationwide—exhibitions, contests, and interactive workshops such as “As We Say at Home,” “Francophone Neurons,” and “Words in Color.” These engaging activities showcase the dynamic nature of Francophone culture and its positive impact on everyday life.
