🍎 “Red Like Fruit” by Hannah Moscovitch: Power, Memory, and Who Gets to Tell the Story

📍 May 28 – June 15, 2025, at Young Centre for the Performing Arts

Co-presented by Soulpepper Theatre and Luminato Festival, this provocative new play by Governor General’s Award-winner Hannah Moscovitch dives deep into storytelling, memory, and power in a post-#MeToo world.

One woman. One man. One fragile narrative.

Lauren, a journalist, is investigating a high-profile domestic violence case. But as she digs deeper, cracks appear in her own memories. Unsure of what really happened in her past, she turns to Luke to help piece together her life story.

But why him? And what does she hope to discover or escape by handing over her voice?

A Psychological Thriller with Emotional Depth

With sharp writing and raw emotion, Red Like Fruit is a gripping unraveling of gender, power, and who has the right to shape the stories we tell about women’s lives.
