Inspired by his uncle and lifelong mentor Coly Cissé—a respected figure in Senegal’s music scene—Cheikh turns childhood memories into a melodic meditation on the power of education and ancestral wisdom.
Blending Caribbean zouk, Angolan kizomba, West African kora, and soul, the track offers a deeply rooted yet globally resonant sound. “If you have knowledge,” Cheikh sings, “you have everything.”
